About UN Careers
UN Careers is a free, independent search engine for jobs across the United Nations system and other international organizations. Vacancies in this field are published on more than a dozen separate career portals, each with its own search and its own closing dates. UN Careers reads those official portals every day and brings every open role into one place you can actually search, so applicants stop checking a dozen sites and stop missing deadlines.
What we cover
At the moment UN Careers lists 1,368 open vacancies from 93 organizations, collected from 17 official sources including UNFCCC, WFP, WHO, IOM, UN, UNICEF, UNDP, FAO, UNHCR, ITU, UNESCO, ILO and others. This spans UN Secretariat roles, specialized agencies, funds, programmes and related international bodies.
How it works
Each day an automated process visits the official career portal of every covered organization, reads the currently open vacancies, and normalizes them into a single consistent format: title, hiring organization, duty station, grade, posted date and closing date. New roles usually appear within 24 hours of being published, and roles are removed automatically once they close, so the listings reflect positions that are open now.
We do not host applications. Every listing links back to the original posting on the employer's own careers site, where you read the full vacancy notice and submit your application directly to that organization.
What makes it useful
- One search across every official source, instead of a dozen separate portals.
- A clean, fast reading view of each vacancy, with a direct link to apply at the source.
- Filters by organization, source, duty station and grade.
- Updated daily, with closed roles removed automatically.
- Completely free, with no account required and no charge to apply.
Independence and accuracy
UN Careersis an independent aggregator. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the United Nations or any of the organizations whose vacancies it lists. Organization names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the source of each listing. We work to keep listings accurate, but the authoritative version of any vacancy is always the original posting on the employer's site. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will correct it.
